How many controllers do I need?

Background

Controllers have different limits as to how much power they can transmit, which limits how many modules you can connect to each controller. LED Modules also require a certain amount of power. This is different for each module, and you should refer to the specifications of your specific module and controller. Typically, we don't want to place unnecessary stress on a controller, so we recommend using 80% of the controller's total output.
